500 Huntington Avenue Update

Wentworth's development of 500 Huntington Avenue has entered its next stage with the Huntington Development Group filing a Project Notification Form (PNF) with the City of Boston and the university filing its 2023-2033 Institutional Master Plan Notification Form.
The Boston Globe covered the news and highlighted the fact that the 640,000-square-foot, two-building complex will be developed by two Black-owned businesses and feature life sciences labs, and ground-floor retail and restaurant spaces.
More than 100 Wentworth students are expected to be employed through co-ops during the planning and construction process, with expectations that the project will provide 1,900 construction and 1,500 full-time job opportunities.
