Class of 1975 Celebrates 50th Reunion at Wentworth Weekend
Wentworth welcomed back members of the Class of 1975 for a joyful celebration of their 50th reunion during Wentworth Weekend on Friday, October 17, 2025. The day was filled with reconnection, reflection, and recognition as six alumni were formally inducted into the prestigious Black & Gold Society, honoring their lifelong commitment to the university.
The festivities began with guided tours of campus, including a nostalgic visit to the Foundry and a firsthand look at the newly renovated manufacturing lab spaces—now state-of-the-art facilities that continue to inspire the next generation of engineers.
During the luncheon, President Thompson offered a heartfelt toast to the class, celebrating their legacy and contributions. Guests also enjoyed the company of Dean Ali Khabari from the Douglas D. Schumann School of Engineering, whose presence underscored the enduring bond between alumni and the academic community.
The 50th reunion was not just a milestone—it was a tribute to the enduring spirit of Wentworth alumni and a reminder that while time may pass, the connections forged here remain strong.
