Hayley Devine is majoring in biological engineering and will graduate from Wentworth in 2024. A rising senior, Hayley will be on co-op this fall working with Seres Therapeutics.

Hayley is an active student at the university. She is serving as a residential assistant in an upper-class community, a note taker for her organic chemistry class, and is a game room attendant in her residential building. Hayley’s academic achievements include Dean's list every semester that she has been a student at Wentworth, where she has maintained a 3.7/4.0 GPA.

Hayley shared that she enrolled at Wentworth due to her interest in the biological engineering program, and wanting to attend a smaller school where she could get to know her professors and receive personalized guidance and support as she pursues her degree.

In her spare time, Hayley’s hobbies include reading and baking. She expressed that being the recipient of the Bernice B. & Winthrop L. Perry Scholarship has enabled her to focus on her studies rather than worrying about how she will afford college in each upcoming semester. She shared, “I came to Wentworth to learn and grow. As a female attending a STEM school I am met with some challenges, but this generous financial support has made things easier.”
