You can do all that and more as a volunteer with Wentworth. Our volunteers are our greatest resource, as they play a crucial role in helping the University accomplish its goals. Every day, our volunteers give back and help us spread the Wentworth experience across the country. Join us and share your experience with our current students and faculty, or help strengthen connections with alumni living and working in your area.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Alumni Admissions Ambassador

    Assist the Office of Admissions in prospective student recruitment through various touchpoints with the university during the admissions process. Admissions Ambassadors will connect with prospective students to show return on investment and share their personal experiences by attending Admitted Student Receptions in their local area, tabling at Welcome Days on campus, and connecting via personal outreach.

  • Class Correspondent

    Liaise between alumni in your degree program or graduating class and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Collaborate with the Office of Alumni Relations on effective communication to alumni through email, phone calls, social media, and surveys. Keep classmates engaged with Wentworth and update them with what’s happening on campus, and  gather updates including contact information, employment, and achievements.

  • Regional Ambassador

    Liaise between alumni in your local area and Wentworth Institute of Technology by collaborating with the Office of Alumni Relations on the planning and execution of regional events. Communicate with and encourage alumni in your area to attend local events, host local events, and coordinate with the Office of Alumni Relations to ensure event success.

  • WAA Board of Directors

    The Wentworth Alumni Association (WAA) Board of Directors meets throughout the year to discuss alumni engagement and involvement and supports the initiatives of The Office of Alumni Relations and Wentworth at large. There are sub-committees which are open to non-board members for participation.
